I spend all my time in the garden. It’s easiest that way. Then I’m not faced with them.
He met some girl named Betty Simovitch. He moved her in.
All they do is kiss. It’s like he thinks he can do what he wants in this house. Like it’s his or something. It’s my house. It’s my house. But I need him here. He makes me stronger. He makes me braver.
Besides, how can I ask a pregnant woman to leave? He seems to love her. Seems to make him forget that he has four children, in some random far away place that none of us know of.
Besides work keeps me busy. I’m a wing woman. Flying planes all day, it’s nice to come home and know that she has dinner on the table.
She spends her days in the library playing guitar and disrupting all the readers. Robert Newbie is there a lot. Apparently they had a thing in high school.
She was there when she went into labour. Actually had the baby right there in the library. With Robert Newbie. She told Ned afterwards that she thought she saw someone who looked like his ex-wife, and his children. But she was in pain. How accurate could she be? But he won’t leave if he finds the babies will he? It’s not like the only thing keeping in him in this house, my house, our house is the thought that his children will come back is it?
The first thing Betty did with Eddison was show him around the house. She didn’t give him Ned’s name. But I have a feeling he’s a brave little boy. I can just tell he some sort of hidden strength like his father.
Ned believed Betty’s story of seeing his ex. He’s gone around to his old house to see if he can find anything out. I’m surprised he didn’t think to that before. He’ll be home soon. I’m sure of it. But I can’t think of that now. I have to brave. Go to the air display I have to perform in. I can do this. I can do this. I have to do this.

I really love her voice! Was the Chef in the library really Peggy-Sue? i suppose it’s good Mausea and Ned aren’t romantically involved. Love can be heady stuff.

Thankyou Moon. I’m glad you like her. Personally I’m counting down the days till she’s over. But judging by how the days fall it will be another 2 weeks, cos she only works 3 days a week, and her boss is glitched.
They did get involved in W3P1. Or did you just skim that bit?
Do you really think that a Peggy-Sue in exile would turn up at the libarary with one of her toddlers? Or that she would be stupid enough to stay in her house with her gigantic perfect garden (as seen in week1-I’m really proud of that garden).
Or that Ned would really be stupid enough to go to PSE’s house guessing that she’s taken the children, and is desperate to keep her father’s legacy alive, at all costs, because he surely can’t be stupid enough to think she’s just going to hand over the children, despite the fact that two of them aren’t his?

Wow. Finally I think I’m starting to understand what this challenge is about. Every time I’ve visited your blog in the past I’ve just been confused and made a quick decision of checking it out later. But I’ve felt kind of bad, because I know you follow my challenge and always comment. Anyway, I like your writing and the way you portrait your carachters.

Thankyou Polly. I’m sorry you find it confusing. If you go the characters pages that will tell you what their overall aim is based on Pinstar’s rules. Then I confuse everyone by writing a strange plot anyway.
